Dear Reader:

Happy Holidays! As a writer, I create heroes and heroines for a living. Thus, I feel somewhat qualified to tell you the attributes that make for a good one. What I know for sure as we say goodbye to 2020, a most challenging year for so very many reasons, is that we should all be filled with gratitude for the many sacrifices our health care workers and other essential workers have made. Real heroes and heroines. I am in awe of you. Truly.

For me, perhaps like some of you, the end of a calendar year is a time of reflection. I look at the goals that I’ve set for the year and assess my progress. In 2020, the first two books of the new A.L. McKittridge suspense series were published—TEN DAYS GONE and NO ONE SAW. For more information, click on Books/Suspense.

Also, in 2020, my website was updated and I changed my Facebook address. You can find me at https://facebook.com/BeverlyLongAuthor. Please visit the page and “like” it so that you see my future posts.

What’s next for 2021? The start of a new three-book romantic suspense series for Harlequin Romantic Suspense featuring first responders in the Pacific Northwest. The first book is a July, 2021 release. Title yet to be determined.

I’m also working on more A.L. McKittridge books. Details will be shared with my newsletter readers first so please take a minute to sign-up for that. I won’t inundate your mailbox—just a few newsletters a year when there is news to share.

Take care. Stay safe.
